The local beaches offer something to suit everyone: the protected waters at Apollo Bay are perfect for swimming, the rockpools at Blanket Bay offer wonderful exploring opportunities for children, while many surfers consider nearby Johanna Beach to be one of the top surfing beaches in Victoria.
Keen walkers should head to the beautiful forests of the Otway Ranges and explore its many pretty waterfalls, stunning views and abundant birdlife. Also very worthwhile is the walk down to Wreck Beach where you'll see the anchors of the Marie Gabrielle and the Fiji.
